To coincide with the 40th anniversary of the anime Macross, a new series of Bandai Spirits Macross plastic models has started for the HG line of models, with the first being the YF-19! Adopts a new deformation mechanism that incorporates replacement parts to simplify transforming from the models 3 forms. The YF-19 model can transform into 3 forms: Battroid, Gerwalk, and Fighter. Capable of a range of motions for an increase in poseable forms.
